Listen to the Doctors
Hello again everyone I hope y’all are having a great week. I just wanted to jump on here and give a quick update on my situation for those, mainly, in Texas who I have not had the chance to update either over the phone via text or e-mail. I am home now after two weeks in the hospital with what turned out to be about my kidneys struggling. Like I mentioned in my previous blog, I wasn't feeling well and decided to check in to the emergency room as my weight gained rapidly and

Hospital Week
To say it's been a long week would be an understatement however it's a necessary evil at this time. I checked in to the emergency room on Saturday the 27th of December and I come from you live from my hospital bed in the transplant unit in said hospital. I was feeling very tired and sluggish in the days leading up to checking into the ER thinking (wishing) it would be a quick stay but really, I know those don't exist. This is my eighth trip to the hospital since September and

Now What

August 20, 2003 my brother - my best friend and my mentor - wa

How Did I Get Here?
Announcement : Thank you to everyone that read my first post and especially those who reached out. I am doing ok. That picture on instagram was from my first day in the hospital. I have been in the hospital six times in the last 3 months but am currently home fighting this disease. My reasons for starting this blog were simple: Keep family and friends up to date on my progress and to get some things off my chest by writing about them. My intention was not to write a cliff han

Day 1
September 6th 2025 I was walking back from Neyland Stadium after working a 12 hour day bouncing from suites to the field and back making sure our corporate sponsors were having a good time as Tennessee beat East Tennessee St by 50. After the game we had a staff meeting to discuss any concerns and to celebrate getting through our first game day. My title is NIL Business Coordinator and I’m just starting my 4th month at a new job across the country from my home in Austin. As I
